THE Sheridan Group, which developed the cinema and entertainment centre at Parnell Street Dublin 1, has been awarded a £11 million contract to build a similar facility at Bournemouth Pier in the UK.

The Sheridan Group was selected from 14 companies to carry out a joint venture development with London's Imry Holdings Ltd, which is currently completing a £250 million retail complex in Southampton. The Bournemouth scheme will include a 300-seat IMAX theatre, bars, restaurants, a casino and a family leisure centre. The Sheridan group is also to build a second leisure centre in Belfast.
