Hamilton Osborne King is seeking about £1 million for three interconnecting buildings at 15/17 Merchants Quay, Dublin 2, which are to be sold by private treaty. The sale will include 12 car-parking spaces in a multi-storey car-park at the rear. Duncan Lyster says that while the buildings are in need of total refurbishment, they have a number of attractive features including a wonderful sweeping staircase. On the opposite side of the city quays to the Four Courts, they could be used for a number of businesses including offices, hotel or guest-house. The current owners are awaiting a decision on a planning permission to convert the buildings into a 46-bedroom hotel. The combined floor area is over 16,000 square feet.
