A UK-based private investor has secured £2.76 million for an industrial unit of almost 50,000 sq ft occupied by Irish Distillers at Shanowen Road in Santry, Co Dublin. It stands on a site of 2.75 acres. Irish Distillers is paying a rent of £132,000 for the premises under a 35-year lease from 1976 with upwards only rent reviews every five years. The initial net yield is only 4.41 per cent. William Fennelly of Lisney acted for the vendor.
