The renewed interest in Dublin's great Georgian houses should ensure a successful auction for Finnegan Menton when it offers 14 Fitzwilliam Square for sale under the hammer on June 13th.

The agency is quoting a guideline price of £2.8 million (€3.56m) for the 4,270 sq ft building, which is in excellent condition and has computer cabling for up to 40 terminals. The rear has up to 14 car-parking spaces and the potential to build a mews.

The agents say that while the house would be ideal as a headquarters or offices for a professional company, there was also the potential to convert it back into a private home, like some other houses in the area.
