Bank of Ireland has secured slightly over £3 million for three office buildings adjoining its main branch at College Green, Dublin 2. The buildings at 1, 2 and 3 Westmoreland Street are partially owned by the bank. It operates a bureau de change on the ground and basement of Number 1 but under the terms of the sale they will be paying only a peppercorn rent in future. The bank will continue to occupy 6,300 sq ft of office space on the four upper floors at a rent of £160,000 per annum. It will have a break option between the second and fifth years. A 700 sq ft former insurance office and a basement at Number 2 are currently vacant. Lisney handled the sale.

The bank has also secured over £4 million from Galway-based developers for a one-acre corner site on Clonkeen Road in Kill O' The Grange, Co Dublin. It is suitable for retail, offices and apartments. Gunne handled the sale.

In Bray, Co Wicklow, the bank has secured £1.2 million for The Mortgage Shop which is mainly rented to the ICS Building Society at £35,300 per annum. There are two floors of offices vacant. Hamilton Osborne King handled this sale.
