Dublin 22/from €250,000: A wide mix of new homes from two-bed apartments and duplexes to three-bed townhouses in two different developments should attract first-time buyers to Lucan. Justin Comiskey reports

Esker Manor, a new scheme in a mature residential setting in Lucan, is being launched for the first time today off plans through joint agents Hooke & MacDonald and Harper O'Grady.

Thirty units are being released in this phase of the Devondale Ltd development. Two-bedroom apartments with 65-78 sq m (700-840 sq ft) cost from €254,000, two-bedroom houses with 73 sq m (790 sq ft) are priced from €280,000 while three-bedroom duplex units with 124-131 sq m (1,340-1,410 sq ft) start at €315,000.

Esker Manor, which is being built by Brian M Durkan & Co, is located off Newlands Road near Lucan village, the M50, N4, Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, a local Superquinn Shopping Centre, Griffeen Valley Park, and golf courses at Finnstown, Lucan and Leixlip.

Offering a mix of three-storey blocks and two-storey terraces in a range of brick, render and stone finishes, Esker Manor will have 107 units in total in a series of cul-de-sacs. Parking is above and below ground.

Standard features include gas-fired central heating, double glazing, fitted wardrobes in all bedrooms and Nolan fitted kitchens.
