A six bedroom semi-detached house in Dublin 4 has been sold after auction for over £3m (#3.80m). The house Donard, at 12 Argyle Road in Ballsbridge, had earlier been withdrawn at a Sherry FitzGerald auction at £2.9m (#3.68m).

The house, which needs some renovation, has 3,300 square feet of floor space including four reception rooms. There is a site for a house next door, though there is no current planning permission.

A six-bedroom period house at 51 Wellington Road, made £1.67m (#2.12m) after auction by Sherry FitzGerald. It was withdrawn at £1.45m (#1.84m).

A two-bedroom apartment at 122 The Sweepstakes, Ballsbridge, was withdrawn at £680,000 (#863,421) and is under negotiation through Sherry FitzGerald.

A four-bedroom house at 22 Shrewsbury Park, was withdrawn by Lisney which is seeking £475,000 (#603,125).

Again in Ballsbridge, Adare, a four-bedroom mews house at 16a Ailesbury Road was withdrawn at £1.15m (#1.46m) and is under negotiation through Finnegan Menton.

In Donnybrook, 19 Nutley Avenue, a five-bedroom detached house was sold at auction for £920,000 (#1.16m) through Sherry FitzGerald.

A three-bedroom house at 17 Wilfield Road, Sandymount, was withdrawn by Gunne Residential which is seeking over £425,000 (#539,638). Lisney is seeking over £850,000 (#1.07m) for a five-bedroom period house, Beaumont at 26 Claremont Road, Sandymount after its withdrawal from auction.

South Dublin

Lisney fetched £890,000 (#1.13m) at auction for Kylemore at 84 Georges Avenue, Blackrock, a three-bedroom detached Georgian house.

In Foxrock, 3 The Thicket, on Hainault Road, a five-bedroom bungalow on 0.33 acres was withdrawn at £700,000 (#888,816) and sold later for a higher figure through Lisney.

Sherry FitzGerald secured £470,000 (#596,776) under the hammer for 13 Beech Park Drive in Foxrock, Dublin 18, a four-bedroom detached house.

On Torquay Road, Mossfield, a five-bedroom detached house on 0.25 acres at The Birches was withdrawn and is under negotiation through Daphne L Kaye & Associates.

Also in Foxrock, Simla, a five-bedroom detached house on Kill Lane, was withdrawn by Hassett & Fitzsimons which is seeking £600,000 (#761,842).

In Mount Merrion, a three-bedroom semi-detached house at 38 Sycamore Road, was withdrawn at £460,000 (#584,079) and sold later for a higher figure through Sherry FitzGerald.

In Booterstown, Southgate at 44 St Helens Road, a four-bedroom semi-detached house was withdrawn by Gunne Residential which is seeking £495,000 (#628,520)

In Monkstown, a terraced house in 13 units at 17 Vesey Place, was withdrawn by HOK Residential which is seeking £925,000 (#1.17m)

In Sandycove, a three-bedroom detached house, Milk Wood at Sandycove Avenue East, was sold at a Sherry FitzGerald auction for £755,000 (#958,652).

Lisney is seeking £2m (#2.53) for Elton Park, Sandycove, a 0.53-acre site with planning permission for 11 apartments following its withdrawal from auction at £1.5m (#1.90m).

In Killiney, Lisney is seeking £900,000 (#1.14m) for Luicell, a four-bedroom bungalow on 0.4 acres on Killiney Hill Road following its withdrawal from auction.

A four-bedroom detached house, San Elmo Lodge, on Torca Road, Dalkey was withdrawn by Lisney which is seeking £900,000 (#1.14m).

In Rathfarnham, Dublin 14, Stella Regis, a four-bedroom detached house on an acre at Tibradden Lane, was withdrawn at £580,000 (#736,448) by Daphne L Kaye & Associates which is seeking £675,000 (#857,073).

In Sandyford, Thorncliffe at Slate Cabin Lane, was withdrawn by Lisney which is quoting £875,000 (#1.11m).

In Lucan, Co Dublin, 13 Vesey Park, a five-bedroom detached house was sold at auction for £425,000 (#539,638) through Lisney.

Dublin 6 and 8

In Dartry, 54 St Kevin's Park, a four-bedroom detached house was sold under the hammer yesterday for £1.11m (#1.40m) through McNally Handy & Partners.

A two-bedroom cottage at 10 Colliers Avenue, Ranelagh, was sold at auction for £295,000 (#374,572) by Douglas Newman Good.

A three-bedroom semi-detached house at 3 Cowper Drive, Rathmines, was withdrawn and is under negotiation through Jackson-Stops.

On Temple Gardens, Rathmines, a four-bedroom detached house called Eleven, was withdrawn and is under negotiation through Lisney.

A two-bedroom terraced house at 24 Camden Row, Dublin 8, was sold at a Sherry FitzGerald auction for £378,000 (#479,960).

Also in Dublin 8, Douglas Newman Good is seeking £480,000 (#609,474) for 19 Synge Street, a four-bedroom house following its withdrawal from auction.

North Dublin

Gunne Residential is seeking over £750,000 (#952,303) for 155 Foxfield Grove, Raheny, Dublin 5, after it failed to sell at auction.

On the Howth Road in Dublin 5, number 780, a bungalow on 0.5 acres was withdrawn and is under negotiation through Jackson-Stops.

In Clontarf, Dublin 3, a four-bedroom terraced house at 393 Clontarf Road was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald which is seeking £580,000 (#736,448)

In Sutton, Dublin 13, a semidetached house at 95 Dublin Road, was withdrawn by Gunne Residential which is seeking about £500,000 (#634,869).

In Portmarnock, a 0.45-acre site with planning permission for a five-bedroom detached house on Old Portmarnock Road, was withdrawn by Lisney which sold it later for over the guide price of £300,000 (#380,921).

A residential site at Beaumont Lodge, Artane, was sold at auction for £265,000 (#336,480) through Gunne Residential.

In Castleknock, Dublin 15, an eight-bedroom detached house, Deerpark House on Castleknock Road, was withdrawn at £1.4m (#1.77m) and is under negotiation through Lisney.

Wicklow

A derelict house on three acres at Rocky Valley, Kilmacanogue, was sold at a Lisney auction for £140,000 (#177,763).

In Greystones, Liscloore on New Road, a three-bedroom bungalow was sold at auction for £380,000 (#482,500) through Jackson-Stops.

Private Treaty

Ganly Walters along with joint agents, Lisney have sold a five-bedroom period house on 1.9 acres Palmyra on Whitechurch Road, Rathfarnham, Dublin 14 for over £1m (#1.26m).

In Foxrock, Dublin 18, Tahilla, at The Birches, a detached four-bedroom house has been sold for about £1.4m (#1.77m) through Daphne L. Kaye & Associates.

Across the city in Malahide, Sherry FitzGerald has reported the sale of Number 3, St Andrews Grove, a four-bedroom detached house which made £475,000 (#603,125).

Meanwhile the same agent secured £250,000 (#317,434) for a four-bedroom detached house at 26 Ardgillen Road, Balrothery, Co Dublin.

Provincial

A five-bedroom detached house on 11 acres, Riveroaks, Castledillon, Straffan Co Kildare, was withdrawn at £1.5m (#1.90m) and sold later for a higher figure through Lisney.

A 70-acre farm at Inchaquire, Spratstown, Ballytore, Co Kildare, was withdrawn at £700,000 (#888,816) and sold later for a higher figure by Jordan Auctioneers. Colm McEvoy withdrew Pollardstown Lodge, a house with 12 boxes at Pollardstown at £708,000 (#898,974) and is under negotiation.

Also in Co Kildare, a 10-acre holding at Gilltown, Kilcullen, was withdrawn at £130,000 (#165,065) and sold later for a higher figure through Bryan O'Doherty. In Co Meath, a four/ five-bedroom house at Retaine, Navan, was sold at auction for £330,000 (#419,013) by Sherry FitzGerald-Harlin.

T.E. Potterton auctioned two properties yesterday: near Tara, a house on four acres called The Conabery, Skryne was withdrawn while 20 acres of land at Balruntagh, Bohermeen, Navan was withdrawn at £110,000 (#139,671) and sold later for a higher figure.

Near Kells, a 43-acre residential farm, Deerpark House at Tierworker, was sold at auction for £210,000 (#266,645) through Raymond Potterton

On Kells Road the same agent sold Glenavon, a four-bedroom detached house on an acre, at auction for £332,000 (#421,553)

Sherry FitzGerald-McMahon fetched £340,000 (#431,710) at auction for Adelphi House in Corofin, Co Clare, a period house on 4.25 acres.

In Co Galway, a four-bedroom house on an acre at Knockanima, Lake Road, Loughrea, was sold at auction for £435,000 (#552,336) by Martin Keary.

Commercial

Off Lr Rathmines Road in Dublin 6, a commercial wholesale premises at 2/3 Parker Hill, was sold at auction for £1.25m (#1.58m) by Druker Fanning and Partners.

A 0.33-hectare site with planning permission for 16 apartments at Sandymount Lane, Ballsbridge was withdrawn by DTZ Sherry FitzGerald.

A commercial premises at Unit 2c, Main Street, Blackrock was withdrawn by Lowe & Associates. In Balbriggan, Co Dublin, a site with planning permission for 38 apartments at the Harbour Site, was withdrawn by Cumiskey.

In Co Tipperary, Downeys residential newsagents at Rosemary Parade, Roscrea was withdrawn by Victor Mitchell which is seeking £290,000 (#368,224)
