A site of almost 45 acres with good development potential beside the Co Limerick village of Parteen is expected to make over £3 million (£3.81m) when it is sold by tender through the Lisney agency.
The site at Kilquane, Athlunkard, Co Clare, is only five kilometres from Limerick city, where there is an acute shortage of development land. According to the selling agents, the Parteen land is in an area "under heavy development pressure because it is close to the village". It is located beside several large cluster developments of houses. A main drainage scheme for Limerick city is due to run through the site in the near future. One of the unique features of the land is its extensive frontage on the River Shannon. There are uninterrupted views across the river to St Thomas Island and more than adequate road frontage.
Tenders close with Lisney on May 25th.
