Philip Lammas of the selling agent says the sale will attract only 2 per cent stamp duty, 4 per cent less than standard commercial transactions. "At this kind of money, the property offers good value in a market where standing stock is at a premium," Lammas said.

The same agent is handling the sale of warehouse accommodation in the adjacent Park West Business Park, where prices of £100 (#127) per sq ft are being quoted on the last of the premises in this size bracket.
