GANNON HOMES is offering substantial price cuts in a new phase of Georgian-style townhouses at The Heights, in the Robswall development in Malahide village, across the road from the beach.

Smart four-bed houses with 175sq m (1,884sq ft) of living space are for sale at €750,000. End-of-row houses cost an additional €20,000.

When this style of house was launched at Robswall back in September 2007 they were priced at €1.29 million.

Today’s prices represent a drop of 42 per cent.

Selling agent HT Meagher O’Reilly will be opening a show unit on site this weekend to give potential buyers a flavour of what is on offer.

The Heights forms part of the larger Robswall scheme located on the eastern fringes of the village. In total over 300 homes have been built.

When first launched back in 2003 the scheme sold particularly well to locals trading up.

The houses are designed to impress with swanky kitchens, reception rooms with 12ft high ceilings and picture rails and bathrooms with free-standing baths on dark wooden plinths.

Large windows take full advantage of the great coastal views on offer.

Layout of the showhouse is non-traditional with study, guest toilet and one bedroom on the ground floor.

The kitchen and a large reception room are found at first floor level.

The remaining three bedrooms and family bathroom are on the top floor.
