Another new year and agents are dusting themselves down in anticipation of a busy season ahead.

Sherry FitzGerald is firmly pinning its colours to the mast in Rathmines with the opening of a new office on a prime site in the heart of the village. Its 16th office in Dublin, the Rathmines branch occupies a prominent corner site on the junction between Rathmines Road and Charleston Road (opposite the old Stella Cinema). With established offices in Ranelagh and Terenure, Sherry FitzGerald is no stranger to this part of Dublin 6. The new branch team will be led by Ronan O’Malley, manager, and Andrea Whelan, associate director.

Meanwhile, Ganly Walters has announced the appointment of Celia Lamb as head of its newly merged country homes and farms department. Long a stalwart of Ganly Walters, Lamb has 10 years experience there, and more than a passing familiarity with the rural brief having worked extensively in both stud farms and country estates to date.
