ANGLO Irish Bank Corporation has leased Heritage House, a 10-year-old office building at 23 St Stephen's Green, in Dublin 2, after failing to persuade the new owner to sell it to the bank. The 13,700 sq ft block was developed behind a Georgian house by the Irish-American businessman Chuck Feeney. It operated as serviced offices until earlier this year, when it was sold to a private investor for £6 million. The bank will be paying £26 per sq ft for the accommodation and will have a break option in the 10th year. Anglo Irish are major lenders to the construction and property investment industries. Gunne Commercial acted for the owner and DTZ Sherry FitzGerald advised the bank.
