One of the biggest and most welcome indicators of a return to business as usual is normal labour movement in the property trade, as opportunities open up and careers advance.

There have been a few such developments in recent weeks, including the launch of a new lettings and management firm, Borgman Earls. The name may sound like a private Swiss bank, but it’s really the partnership of Tracy Earls and Nick Borgman who until recently held senior positions at the IFSC branch of Sherry FitzGerald Lettings. The new offices are based on Herbert Street, Dublin 2.

Meanwhile, Felicity Fox has moved to replace the space vacated by Paul Aherne following his departure to Hunters, with the appointment of Clodagh Barry as a senior negotiator. Clodagh gained much of her experience as head of residential lettings and property with Knight Frank/Ganly Waters, and prior to that with Colliers. Alistair Hickey, who is prevalent in Felicity Fox’s south city centre territory, has also been made a partner after seven years with the practice.
