This year's annual conference of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland is likely to attract a strong attendance thanks to a heavyweight line up of speakers.
The great and the good of the construction and property industry will be most interested to hear what John Mulcahy has to say. Currently winding down his role as head of asset management at NAMA, Mulcahy will hopefully speak more freely than usual and offer some good insights into the future of the property sector. Other keynote speakers include economist Colm McCarthy, who's always good value for money; chief executive of IDA Ireland Barry O'Leary and a number of other industry professionals offering suggestions as to how Ireland can take a lead role in attracting more overseas investment.
Entitled “Leading through Innovation”, and taking place at Chartered Accountants House on Dublin’s Pearse St on Thursday, October 24th, this year’s event will focus on foreign direct investment and international opportunities. Brochures and booking forms are available at scsi.ie
