Arriving in Arnotts next month from Ligne Roset are his and hers armchairs with a difference.

The Jul and Jil chairs share the same lines and compact dimensions but the two chairs differ from each other in subtle ways: Jul's lines are clean and masculine, while Jil's are more curvaceous and feminine.

There is also a slight price difference - the Jul Chair starts at €1,712 and the Jil Chair costs from €1,762.

Already with a couple of awards under its belt the new Downtown settee and fireside chair collection offers multi-functionalism at its best and its simplest.

The innovative multi- function settee-bed has two articulate backs offering three positions each.

The third back lifts perpendicular to the seat giving a comfy headrest,while the settee is used as a bed.

Not likely to be to everyone's taste, the Tip Up chair is a strikingly unusual relax chair designed with video gamers in mind. vb Otherwise it's an eye-catching seat sculpture for a contemporary setting. Users sit astride it cowboy-style, using their legs to balance and forearms and torso to rest on the upper part of the chair. Price from €442.

The soft informal cocoon-like Togo collection of all-foam quilted settees has been a best seller since its launch in the early seventies. Now to celebrate Togo's 33rd year Ligne Roset has introduced a settee with arms to the existing collection of large and small settee, corner seat and footstool. The Togo range starts at €534 for a footstool, €811 for a fireside chair, €1,182 for the small settee and €2,343 for the new settee with arms.
