"Condo hotel" units in a resort featured in the new Bond movie, Casino Royale, are being offered to Irish investors by Florida-based Monaghan real estate agent Kevin Macklin.
Units in The Residences at Atlantis, Paradise Island in the Bahamas will cost from €532,245 ($700,000) for studio suites to over €1.36m ($1.8m) for two-bedroom suites.
Investors put the units into the hotel rental pool, but can use them themselves for a limited number of days per year. There will be 495 units in the development, being built in phase three of The Residences at Atlantis, an upmarket resort by developer Turnberry. Completions are expected by Christmas 2007. A seminar is being held for investors about the development in the Four Seasons Hotel, Dublin 4, this weekend.
