Dublin Developments:An Bord Pleanála will decide on a number of high profile Dublin developments in December and early January.
An oral hearing is scheduled for December 11th to decide on the fate of Lansdowne stadium, above, which is expected to last for five days. Locals opposing the €365 million revamp will be asking for the size of the stadium to be scaled back and the design to be modified to suit the local environment.
The board is also due to rule on December 13th on developer Liam Carroll's proposal to build 783 apartments in 16 blocks on South Bank Road, Ringsend, beside the former Irish Glass Bottle Company lands. On January 4th the board is due to decide on the former MJ Flood site in Sandyford Industrial estate in Dublin 13 where developer Noel Smyth is looking to build a 23 storey apartment tower.
