There seems to be no stopping Paddy Kelly and John Flynn. The duo have just paid £1.7 million for an office block in Tara Street, shortly to be vacated by Marlborough International. The two businessmen made a killing last year when they let all 350,000 sq ft of the Clonskeagh Business Park. Since then, they have also snapped up the former Harcourt Street Children's Hospital and an £8 million development site in Smithfield. Paddy Kelly also nipped into Lisney's auction room a couple of weeks ago to pick up a run-down redbrick on Harcourt Terrace for £570,000.

Locals must be wondering if he is about to assemble a site - or maybe it was just a bit of loose change on the day.
