A new beachfront apartment development in the north Dublin seaside village of Skerries goes on sale this week off the plans through joint selling agents Hooke & MacDonald and Kelly & Co, with prices starting from £155,000 (#196,809).

Set back off the South Beach, there will be 52 apartments in the Heritage Properties-built Rockabill development. While the majority of the units will have two bedrooms, there will also be eight one-bedroom apartments and two three-bedroom homes.

There will be two separate winter-gardens and sun terraces. The town is served by a regular commuter train to Dublin city centre.

Smithfield Village, St Kevin's Church apartments on South Circular Road and Haddington Square are some of Heritage Properties' past developments.

There will be 52 two-bedroom apartments and penthouses. Sizes will range from 750 to 1,000 sq ft. There will be nine penthouse units, five at Holmpatrick and four at South Strand. Prices for the two-bedroom apartments are from £155,000 to £250,000 (#196,809-#317,434). The two-bedroom penthouses are from £265,000 (#336,480). There will also be six one-bedroom 525 sq ft units priced from £145,000 (#184,112).

Features of the apartments will include fitted wardrobes in bedrooms, storage closets in the hall and fitted kitchens with stainless steel extractor unit. All bathrooms will be fitted with white sanitary ware and chrome fittings. Television socket outlets will be provided in the lounge and main bedrooms.
