Describe the house

We have made quite a lot of changes to it. We put on a back extension and moved the kitchen into it. We installed a handmade bespoke kitchen with integrated appliances and stone worktop. There are limestone floors throughout the whole ground floor. We have put in new Junckers floors in all of the bedrooms. We have also installed a new bathroom and there is new skirting and architraves. The new bedroom wardrobes and various cabinets were all hand-made at our cabinetmaking business.

Why are you moving?

It is with much regret that we have decided to move from this house but we recently had a baby boy and so need more space but we like the area so much that we do intend to stay in the neighbourhood.

Whats the best thing about it?

The house is in a very attractive small development much admired by all visitors.

And the neighbourhood?

Phibsborough, and Shandon in particular, has a very quiet family feel about it. There are lots of amenities such as Mount Bernard Park which has tennis courts and is just two minutes' walk away. It is possible to walk into town in about 15 minutes.

Who would like your house?

A young professional might like to live here or maybe an older couple who have decided to downsize.
