The way has been cleared for the development of a wholesale distribution centre for the clothing trade at the M50 Business Park at Ballymount Industrial Estate in west Dublin. Park Developments has been granted planning permission for 153,800 sq ft of space in two buildings around a central courtyard where there will be a cafΘ and reception. There will also be over 20,000 sq ft of agents' offices in a three-storey building.

Paul McNeive of Hamilton Osborne King has begun marketing the the second phase of 25 acres in the park, which has double frontage on to the M50. The first new building in this section is under construction for AHP, a leading pharmaceutical company. It will be used as a sales, marketing and distribution centre. Meanwhile Hamilton Osborne King is quoting £1.6 million (2.03m) for a 14,000 sq ft light industrial building at the Airport Business Park which goes to tender on July 11th.
