Investing in GeorgiaA sale and leaseback scheme in Atlanta, Georgia will be offered to Irish buyers at the Invest in Property exhibition in the RDS this weekend.

Likely to appeal as an investment, rather than as holiday homes, The Villas on Briarcliff, in the Buckhead area of the city, is a scheme of 82 recently refurbished homes where prices start at €198,000 for two-bedroom condos, with a three-year leaseback offering a guaranteed rental return of €867 a month, according to the agent.

Three-bedroom apartments costing €236,000 come with a guaranteed monthly rental income of €1,182, according to Florida-based Dublin developer Gary Kenny.

Amenities at Briarcliff include swimming pools, picnic areas, walk-in wardrobes and southern-style screened porches.
