Dublin 15: The last 15 one and two-bedroom apartments go on sale this week at Amberwood, near Blanchardstown at Mulhuddart, Dublin 15.

This early-season launch by Shelman Properties sets the scene for others to come, with a top-spec finish and low prices representing good value for money.

One-bedroom units of 51 sq m (550 sq ft) cost from €189,995 and two-bedroom apartments of 71 sq m (770 sq ft) start at €229,995. Selling agent Karen O'Rourke of Concept Design will be taking bookings at show units, open for inspection today Concept Design is primarily an interior design company, so this small development of 24 apartments has been given an up-to-the-minute contemporary look, with a good number of extras included as standard.

Window frames are of Swedish walnut, with glass "winter garden" bays opening to decked and astro-turfed balconies. Kitchens are fitted out with maple slab units with chrome accessories and appliances are included. Cherry wardrobes are installed in all bedrooms and smart bathrooms have superb ceramic wall tiling with chrome edging.

This is no sprawling mixed housing development, but an intimate one-block scheme close to Mulhuddart village.
