A second floor, two-bedroom apartment has come up for sale in The Warehouse, the former shoe and underwear factory which has been converted into loft-style apartments.

Felicity Fox is asking €825,000 for the apartment, off Clanbrassil Street.

Each apartment in The Warehouse has a different layout and usually features a few large rooms, rather than a series of smaller ones, and there is plenty of storage space.

Number 27 has 130sq m (1,400sq ft) of living space with airy ceilings and a bank of windows across one side of the apartment.

You enter into a small lobby with bedrooms to one side and a livingroom on the other, facing the front of the building. This is one very long room with a dining area at one end.

There's a raised fireplace and a door opening to a balcony. The floor is tiled in limestone and built-in shelves line an internal wall.

One side of the room is panelled with varnished timber. Behind this, reached through a hidden door, are a utility room and guest shower room.

An archway at the end of the panelling opens to the kitchen. The units here are by Siematic and the work surface and splashback are in stainless steel.

The bedrooms all look out onto a courtyard in the centre of the building and also have balconies.

The main bedroom has a large en suite with limestone bath.

The second bedroom is currently used as an office but has two built-in 'Murphy' beds that pull down from the wall.

The best thing about this apartment is the main living and diningroom: it's a space in which you could entertain a relatively large number of people. There is secure car-parking around the building.
