Co Meath/from €340,000: Those in the market for a family house near the sea in Co Meath could check out a new development in Bettystown, launching with joint agents Flynn & Associates and R B Daly this weekend.
Sevitt Manor is a small 50-unit development of large detached houses, half a mile inland from Bettystown beach and two miles from the M1 motorway. Twenty-seven houses are being released in this first phase, with four different four-bed house styles to choose from.
Prices are from €340,000 for the smallest 139 sq m (1,492 sq ft) detached house, which has two reception rooms, a large open-plan kitchen/family room and utility and four bedrooms, one en suite. From €390,000 buys a 151 sq m (1,602 sq ft) detached four-bedroom house in a different design.
Dormer houses with 172 sq m (1,854 sq ft) of living space start at €450,000. Top of the range are 186 sq m (2,000 sq ft) four-bedroom detached houses with large garages and two en suite shower rooms.
Standard features include gas central heating, full brick frontages, red deal upstairs floors and top range Villeroy and Boch bathroom ware. Many houses have either a south or south-west orientation and others overlook green spaces. Laytown rail station is about two miles from the development.
Previous projects by Mycete Homes include Kingsbury and Beaufield in Maynooth and Willsbrook and Cluain Rí in Lucan. Viewing is over the weekend.
