Development sites may suit house building

Two major development sites with residential potential have come to the market in south-east Belfast

Two major development sites with residential potential have come to the market in south-east Belfast. Colliers JacksonStops is quoting £1.5 million sterling for a two-acre development site just off the Knock dual carriageway. The site has residential and showroom or business space potential.

The newly formed Belfast commercial agency, Campbell Cairns, is quoting £1.8 million for the site near the former Express Dairies property on a 2.7-acre site on the Castlereagh Road, in east Belfast. The site is one of the best residential development opportunities in the south-east of the city which has benefited from the successful Forrestside Shopping Centre and which has enjoyed steady growth in residential values. There is currently almost 67,000 sq ft of warehouse and factory space in the complex, which has access points from Castlereagh Road, Ormonde Gardens and Ladas Drive.
