NATIONAL COUNCIL OF ART AND DESIGN

Course: MA in history of design and the applied arts. This two-year course encourages the study of designed objects, from ordinary objects of every day life to the "designer" product. The course is intended to create a greater understanding of design, the design process and the place of the consumer in history. It is offered on one day a week over two years. Application is open to graduates with a minimum second-class honours degree. Closing date for application is March 8th, 2005 (entry every two years only). Applications are available from The Admissions Office, NCAD, 100 Thomas St, D8 or at the postgraduate open evening in NCAD on February 3rd (4.30 p.m. to 7 p.m.).
