Feng Shui disciples believe water is a life-giving element that introduces positive energy to our environment and resolves energy blockages within it. So far, so new agey, but even if you're not a fan of the Eastern art of spacial arrangement it's easy to see why the gentle sound of a trickling water fountain in a room might provide, at the very least, a soul-soothing backdrop. A fountain in the garden is an increasingly popular feature but it's not so easy to create the same water calming effect indoors.

Crystal Waters is a tabletop fountain that works indoors. It incorporates a light in the base which, when shone through a filter, gives the glass pebbles at the base of the fountain a blue, purple, green or red hue. Water is recycled through an integrated pump with four speed settings that allows the water to cascade down the layered stone at different speeds and with differing sound effects.
