NOURIEL “Dr Doom” Roubini, the economist who correctly forecast the world recession – and who has apparently been asked recently by Irish leaders to advise on our crisis – will be the keynote speaker at the MIPIM real estate conference in Cannes in March. Dr Roubini will talk about the global economy and its impact on real estate at the conference, to be held from March 8th to 11th.

“I am delighted to speak with international players in the property market at a time when the global economy is developing around two opposing trends. Discussing these issues with MIPIM participants will give me an excellent opportunity to speak directly to the players and leaders of the real estate industry, which plays a key role in the global economy.”

Over 17,000 real estate agents from around the world will attend the conference, which will be addressed by 150 speakers.
