Another convent, this time in Drumcondra, is to be turned into an apartment complex. Shannon Homes has applied to convert a convent on land bordered by St Alphonsus Road, St Joseph's Avenue and Dargle Road, Drumcondra, Dublin 9, into 29 apartments. The existing chapel will be retained for religious use. The developers also plan to build a further 24 houses, 16 duplexes and 86 apartments.
