The ESB has paid £2.6 million at auction for the former McInerney headquarters building at 27/28 Herbert Place, Dublin 2. There were five bidders at the Davin auction, when bidding opened at £1.75 million. The 7,500 sq ft building was sold by a Dublin property developer who integrated the two buildings seven years ago and installed a lift. There are six onsite car-parking spaces.
