Time to iron the whites for the annual Estate Agents Tennis Tournament which takes place next Saturday at Lansdowne Tennis Club in Ballsbridge.

This event traditionally marks the end of the summer season before the agents have to get back to their desks and their mobile phones. A total of 13 teams of six, including two from outside Dublin, will be chasing the prizes and the honours.

Hot favourites include the Hooke & MacDonald team who have come out on top on a number of occasions, followed by Sherry FitzGerald which, considering the number of young sporty staff it can draw on, is also bound to be in the shake up on Saturday.
