Multyfarnham: from €250,000Three and four-bedroom houses from €250,000 are selling from plans in Multyfarnham, a popular village about 10 minutes drive from Mullingar on the Longford side.
Sherry FitzGerald Davitt & Davitt is the selling agent for An Gleib, a small scheme of 15 houses by Meath builder DP Kennedy Construction.
The new development is located on a raised site near the village centre. Five houses have pre-sold to first-time buyers from the Mullingar area and 10 are still for sale.
The agent is expecting interest in the larger houses from Dublin families trading up without the pain of a larger mortgage. Three-bedroom terrace houses range from €250,000 to €265,000, depending on position on the block, with dimensions from 113-119sq m (1,216-1,281sq ft).
One four-bedroom mid-terrace house of 130sq m (1,400sq ft) costs €280,000, and two four-bed end-of-terrace houses are priced at €285,000 and €290,000 for 130sq m (1,400sq ft) of space.
A 130sq m (1,400sq ft) four-bedroom semi-detached house is asking €320,000. These are timber-frame homes, with timber windows and doors and pine interior doors.
Allowances are provided for kitchens, wardrobes and fireplaces. Appliances are not included. Interiors will be painted and each house will have a front and back garden.
Roofs are in place at An Gleib and completions are scheduled for January 2007, says the selling agent.
