Show apartments are open for the first time at the Castle Way scheme to coincide with the release of the final phase of homes at this city centre development.

Selling agent Hooke & MacDonald is releasing the final 20 apartments at this Rhatigan scheme close to Dublin Castle.

Castle Way is on the corner of Golden Lane and Chancery Lane, Dublin 8 and beside the new 150-bedroom Radisson SAS Royal Hotel.

Prices start at €500,000 for one-bedroom apartments of 42-49sq m (450-525sq ft).

Two-bedroom apartments of 58-88sq m (625-945sq ft) are priced from €585,000. Two-bedroom duplex units of 72-88sq m (775-945sq ft) are priced from €615,000 and the three-bedroom duplex penthouses of 149-166sq m (1,600-1,785sq ft) are priced from €1.6 million.

Prices in the previous phase last September started at €425,000 for one-bedroom units and went up to €1.225 million for three-bedroom penthouses.

When complete, the scheme will incorporate 77 apartments, a retail area, office buildings and the new hotel.

Proximity to city centre hot spots is a big selling point of this scheme. The Grafton Street area is minutes away and some apartments have views over to St Patrick's Cathedral and Dublin Castle.

Galway developer JJ Rhatigan and architect Anthony Reddy have designed the scheme around a long private landscaped courtyard with a linear water feature.

Fit-out at the scheme is impressive. Kitchens feature granite worktops and wenge and cream gloss units.

Kitchen appliances come as standard. Bathrooms have Italian ceramic wall and floor tiling and have double-sized shower units.

All units come with balconies, which feature resin decks and atmospheric uplighting. There are composite double glazed windows and hardwood doors.

Underground car-parking spaces can be purchased for €50,000.

Units will be ready for occupation in eight to 10 weeks, according to the selling agent.
