Finance company to pay £40 per sq ft for Georgian office

Dublin office rents are continuing to edge upwards

Dublin office rents are continuing to edge upwards. A foreign-based financial company has apparently agreed to lease 22,000 sq ft of space in the former Ansbacher building at Leeson Street and a new office development at the rear. The rent is understood to be around £40 per sq ft under a 25-year lease with no break options. There is around 3,600 sq ft of space in the Georgian building.

It is one of three Georgians, along with a large rear site, bought by Friends First from the Fitzpatrick Hotel Group for £7 million. Spain Courtney Doyle and Druker Fanning are handling the letting while Lisney is acting for the financial company.
