Thursday (August 2nd)John Weldon Auctioneers, Cow's Lane, Temple Bar, Dublin 8. A pawnbroker's auction at 5pm featuring 210 lots – mainly items of jewellery. The auctioneer is licensed by the Department of Justice to sell unredeemed items on behalf of various Dublin pawnbrokers. The items were used as collateral to raise cash but were surrendered when the owners failed to repay the money loaned by the pawnbrokers.
