Design Auction at the Royal College of Physicians. Furniture: a pair of Kontur easy chairs made €3,900 (estimate €1,000-€1500); a pair of 1950s easy chairs by Grete Jalk made €3,800 (€1,000-€1,500); a walnut side cabinet made €3,500 (€1,500-€2,500); a sputnik chandelier made €3,000 (€1,500-€2,000); a glass bird by Picasso made €4,000 (€4,000-€6,000); Pernilla lounge chair made €1,500 (€1,000-€1,500); Victoria marble-topped console table made €3,200 (€800-€1,200); Rolf Benz sofa made €2,400 (€600-€1,000); a pair of chrome art deco uplighters made €2,200 (€400-€600); Andersen extending dining table made €1,500 (€600-€900); five Series Seven chairs by Arne Jacobsen made €1,300 (€400-€600).
