Summer fine art sale, July 10th and 11th. Total in excess of €420,000, with 80 per cent sold. A rare eight-day mid-19th century chronometer timepiece by Dent of London, signed, numbered and in original carrying-case, made €25,000 (€10,000-€15,000). Three-stone diamond ring, fancy yellow stone flanked by two radiant-cut diamonds, €20,000 (€20,000-€30,000).  Collection of Georgian views of Dublin by James Malton, €11,000 (€8,000-€12,000). George III silver freedom box by Alexander Ticknell, Dublin, 1797, presented to the Hon Thomas Packenham for bravery in naval battle,  €7,000 (€4,500-€6,500). A 1963 Morris Minor, sky blue with leather interior,  €6,100 (€2,000-€3,000).  The Tickell Cup, two-handled silver racing trophy from Punchestown, Dublin 1899, possibly made by Charles Lamb, €5,600 (€4,000-€6,000). Bust of George Washington by Jean Antoine Houdon,€5,250 (€3,000-€4,000). The Phoenix Rises Again, 19th century cast iron model of a phoenix rising from the flames, €5,200 (€1,500-€2,000). Walter Williams, Riverside Landscape with Two Gentlemen Fishing in a Boat, €4,800 (€2,000-€3,000). Large Victorian  speckled grey marble fireplace, €4,600 (€2,000-€3,000). Sunday, July 29th, noon to 6pm.  Hosted by Antique Fairs Ireland and Vintage Ireland. Admission €3.50.  The fair will include a range of traditional collectibles, such as rare coins and banknotes, as well as rare and first edition books, alongside antique and vintage jewellery and silver, plus antique and vintage items for the home.
