Cannon Rock Cottage, Howth, a five-bedroom detached house on a dramatic 3.5-acre site overlooking the sea, has been sold for £900,000 by Gunne. Elsewhere in Howth, 2 Howth Terrace, a three-bedroom terraced house, made £182,000 through Hamilton Osborne King.

In Skerries, a five-bedroom period house facing the sea at 12 Harbour Road, was withdrawn at £475,000 and sold later for about £500,000 through Douglas Newman Good.

In Clontarf, 26 Ashbrook, Howth Road, a four-bedroom house, was withdrawn by Gunne, which is quoting £315,000.

In Raheny, Dublin 5, Flynn & Associates secured £326,000 for 16 Watermill Lawn, a four-bedroom detached house.

In Malahide, a four-bedroom bungalow, Creevelagh, at Upper Strand Road, fetched £390,000 through Sherry FitzGerald.

In Dublin 9, 119 St Mobhi Road, a four-bedroom semi, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £319,000.

Also in Dublin 9, GWD is quoting £250,000 for 38 Marguerite Road, Glasnevin, following its withdrawal from auction.

Number 345 Navan Road, Dublin 7, a four-bedroom house, was withdrawn at £272,000 and is under negotiation through Flynn & Associates.

South Dublin

In Killiney, a four-bedroom semidetached house at 11 Anglesea Park was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £380,000.

Lisney secured £400,000 at auction for 9 Old Quarry, Dalkey, a four-bedroom bungalow. Also in Dalkey, a two-bedroom semi at 35 Village Gate fetched £313,000 at a Hamilton Osborne King auction.

In Sandycove, Lisney achieved £1.375 million under the hammer for 2 Castle Place, a semi-detached house facing the sea. The four-bedroom house has planning permission for a 3,000 sq. ft extension. On the same day, Lisney sold Stratford, a Victorian five-bedroom semi-detached house on Silchester Road for £1.36 million. Also in Glenageary, a three-bedroom bungalow at 14 Gowrie Park was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £250,000. Hamilton Osborne King is seeking £200,000 for a four-bedroom house at 9 Mulgrave Street, Dun Laoghaire, following its withdrawal. In Monkstown, 55 Richmond Park, a three-bedroom semi, made £266,000 through Terry Halpenny.

In Blackrock, a four-bedroom end-of-terrace house at 1 Montpelier Place was withdrawn by Lisney.

Also in Blackrock, a five-bedroom bungalow at 82 Stillorgan Grove was sold prior to auction for a price believed to be about £530,000 by Douglas Newman Good.

Sherry FitzGerald fetched £359,000 at auction for a three bedroom semi-detached house at 8 Proby Garden, Blackrock. A two-bedroom townhouse at 89 Merrion Park, off Mount Merrion Avenue, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £255,000.

Elsewhere in Blackrock, 14 Seafort Parade, a three-storey six room house, fetched £290,000 through Mason Estates.

In Mount Merrion, 82 Fosters Avenue, a four-bedroom detached house, made £480,000 at a Sherry FitzGerald auction.

Nearby, a three-bedroom bungalow at 20 Deerpark Road was sold after auction for over £300,000 by Lisney. In Lucan, Co Dublin, 3 Vesey Park, a five-bedroom detached house, made £332,000 through Lisney.

Dublin 2 and 4

Hamilton Osborne King fetched £550,000 at auction for a Regency-style mid-terrace house at 45 Sandymount Road. The agents had given a guide price of £400,000 for the three bedroom house. In Ringsend, a terraced house at 35 Patrick's Villas was withdrawn by Gunne.

A four-bedroom semi-detached house at 125 Donnybrook Manor was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £400,000.

In Dublin 2, 22 Lower Grand Canal Street, a three-bedroom mid-terraced house, was withdrawn at £260,000 and is under negotiation through Douglas Newman Good.

Dublin 6 and 8

Atkinson House, a large period house in need of modernisation, at 21 New Street, in the Coombe, was sold at a Sherry FitzGerald auction for £640,000.

Also in Dublin 8, a detached period house at 1a Thomas Davis Street, Christchurch, was withdrawn by Douglas Newman Good, which is quoting £190,000.

In Ranelagh, Hamilton Osborne King fetched £340,000 at auction for 52 Lower Beechwood Avenue, Ranelagh, a four-bedroom mid-terrace house.

Also in Ranelagh, Chelmsford Lodge, a two-bedroom mews house at 17 Chelmsford Lane, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £360,000.

In Rathmines, a terraced house in six units at 68 Grosvenor Square was sold after auction for £345,000 by Sherry FitzGerald.

A six-bedroom mid-terraced house at 14 Eaton Square, Terenure, was withdrawn by Lisney, which is quoting £425,000.

A four-bedroom detached house at 49 Woodfield, Templeogue, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald.

Dublin 14 and 16

In Rathfarnham, Lisney withdrew Newbarn, a four-bedroom detached house on Rathfarnham Park, at £500,000 and sold it later for just under £600,000. A three-bedroom bungalow at 18 Nugent Road, Churchtown, was sold after auction for over £200,000 by Hamilton Osborne King.

Wicklow

In The Burnaby, Greystones, a six-bedroom detached house on over half an acre fetched £1.2 million through Lisney.

A four-bedroom detached house, Pembroke House on Killarney Road, Bray, was withdrawn by joint agents H.J. Byrne and Murphy Ralston, who are quoting £430,000.

Also in Bray, a three-bedroom bungalow, Woodleigh, at Giltspur Lane, was withdrawn by H.J. Byrne, which is quoting £265,000.

In Delgany, Copper Hill, a four-bedroom bungalow, was sold at a Jackson-Stops McCabe auction for £365,000.

Hamilton Osborne King is quoting £540,000 for Chinook, Upper Kindlestown Hill, a three-bedroom bungalow, following its withdrawal from auction.

A two-bedroom bungalow, Fernfield, at Callow Hill, Newtownmountkennedy, was sold prior to auction for over £150,000 by Jackson-Stops McCabe.

Provincial

In Co Kildare, a 100-acre farm at Pluckstown, Kilmeague, Naas, was sold at auction for £480,000, through Coonan.

The same agent withdrew a limestone quarry at Broadstone, Co Kildare, at £240,000 and sold it later for a higher figure. Also in Co Kildare, a threestorey six-bedroom house at 1 McElwain Terrace, Newbridge, fetched £220,000 through Boland & Sons.

The same agent withdrew Ballyowen, a derelict cottage on 10 acres at Broadford, Co Kildare, at £140,000.

A four-bedroom house on an acre in Kill was sold at auction for £236,000 through Jim Fitzgerald Auctioneers.

Nuptown Lodge, a 23-acre stud farm with a three-bedroom house at Athy, was withdrawn, and is under negotiation through Gunne.

Still in Co Kildare, a four-bedroom house, St Jude's, on Abbey Road, Naas, was withdrawn and is under negotiation through Gunne.

In Co Meath, a three-bedroom house on 47 acres, fetched £340,000 through Smith Auctioneers.

A three-bedroom detached house on half an acre, Russelwood House, at Clonard, Enfield, Co Meath, fetched £245,000 through Gunne. In Co Laois, a 206-acre residential farm at Ballygogue, Durrow, was withdrawn at £800,000 and is under negotiation through Sothern Auctioneers.

Also in Co Laois, the same agent withdrew Shanahoe House, Shanahoe, Abbeyleix, a 121-acre dairy farm with a 93,000-gallon milk quota, at £1.1 million. In Co Tipperary, Rockvalley, a detached house on 17.8 acres at Puckane, was sold at auction for £330,000 through Lisney.

In Co Waterford, Thorneycroft, a three-bedroom house on 5.5 acres at Ballyduff, was withdrawn at £130,000 and is under negotiation through Shee & Hawe.

In Co Wexford, a farmhouse on 1.6 acres at Grange, Bannow, was sold at auction for £98,000 by Raymond Corish.

Commercial

In Dublin 2, a freehold investment property at 75a Upper Leeson Street, made £224,000 through Lisney. The price equates to a yield of 2.9 per cent - the lowest recorded in the city.

In Tallaght, 164 acres of development land at Kiltipper Road, Old Bawn, was withdrawn by Brian Bagnall & Associates. In Lucan, Co Dublin, Carrolls commercial/residential property was withdrawn at £1.5 million and is under negotiation through McDonald Brothers.

Matt Dunne & Associates sold The Bellyard pub, on Dublin Road, Monasterevin, prior to auction for about £370,000.

In Kilkenny, a 2.5-acre site, at Kilkenny Road, was sold at auction for £950,000 by Sothern Auctioneers.

A retail property at 1 North Main Street, Wexford, was sold at auction for £640,000 by Kehoe & Associates.

A public house/restaurant, MacFaddens, at Kilrane, Rosslare Harbour, Co Wexford, was withdrawn at £825,000 and is under negotiation through Gunne.

In Nenagh, Co Tipperary, Nellie Spillane's pub, Capparoe, was withdrawn at £250,000 and is under negotiation through Gunne.
