A five-bedroom Victorian house, Kenmare at 17 Orwell Park in Rathgar was withdrawn from auction yesterday at £1.36 million (€1.72m) by Sherry FitzGerald and is now quoting £1.5 million (€1.9m). In Rathmines, a six-bedroom Victorian house at 12 Palmerston Road was withdrawn at £1.5 million (€1.9m) and sold later for £1.6 million (€2.06m) by Sherry FitzGerald.
In Ranelagh, 17 Mountainview Road, a fourbedroom semi-detached house, was withdrawn at £780,000 (€990,600) by Sherry FitzGerald which is seeking £835,000 (€1.06m).
Elsewhere in Ranelagh, 37 Upper Elmwood Avenue, a twobedroom period house in need of refurbishment, was withdrawn at £290,000 (€368,300) by Sherry FitzGerald which is quoting £325,000 (€412,750).
A strong price of £498,000 (€632,460) was achieved at a Sherry FitzGerald auction for 21 Casimir Road in Harold's Cross, a four-bedroom Edwardian house.
Gunne Residential is seeking £520,000 (€660,400) for 55 Fortfield Drive, Terenure, a five-bedroom semi-detached house, following its withdrawal from auction.
In Dublin 8, a four-bedroom Victorian townhouse at 9 Pleasant Street was sold at auction for £560,000 (€711,200) through Gunne Residential.
Nearby at 52 Synge Street, a two-bedroom villa-style house was sold at a Sherry FitzGerald auction for £270,000 (€342,900).

In Sandymount, 7 Farney Park, a three-bedroom semi-detached house, was sold at a Lisney auction for £485,000 (€615,950).
A four-bedroom semi-detached period house at 50 Oaklands Park, Sandymount, was withdrawn at £480,000 (€609,600) by Bennetts, which is quoting £520,000 (€660,400).
South Dublin
In Blackrock, a five-bedroom semi-detached Victorian house, Athgarvan, at 41 Stillorgan Park, Blackrock was withdrawn at £725,000 (€920,750) and sold later for a figure believed to be over £800,000 (€1.016m) by HOK Residential.
Also in Blackrock, a two-bedroom mid-terrace house at 19a Sydney Avenue was sold at a Sherry FitzGerald auction for £310,000 (€393,700).
In Mount Merrion, 37 Deerpark Road, a three-bedroom semi-detached house was sold at auction for £336,000 (€426,720) by Sherry FitzGerald.
A four/five-bedroom house currently arranged in three apartments at 5 Belgrave Square in Monkstown was sold at auction for £660,000 (€838,200) through Lisney.
In Sandycove, Leymac Lodge, a three-bedroom bungalow off Sandycove Road, was withdrawn by Lisney which is quoting £425,000 (€539,750).
A four-bedroom bungalow on 0.33 acres, Borrmount, on Rochestown Avenue, Killiney was withdrawn at £460,000 (€584,200) and sold later in the region of £500,000 (€635,000) through Sherry FitzGerald.
In Shankill, a three-bedroom house, Woodhaven on Main Street, was withdrawn at £500,000 (€635,000) and sold later for a higher figure through Gunne Residential.
North Dublin
HOK Residential made £457,000 (€580,390) at auction for 31a Upper Drumcondra Road in Dublin 9. The 2,000 sqft four-bedroom period house, which had a guide price of £270,000 (€342,900) is in need of complete modernisation. It has a 140-ft long rear garden with access.
A four-bedroom detached house at 94 Iona Road, Glasnevin, Dublin 9 was sold at a Lisney auction for £650,000 (€825,500).
Also in Glasnevin, Druker Fanning & Partners secured £257,000 (€326,390) at auction for 2 Fairfield Road, a threebedroom semi-detached house in need of modernisation.
In Portmarnock, a five-bedroom detached house, Tweenways on the Coast Road, was withdrawn by Lisney which is quoting £985,000 (€1.25m).
Provincial
In Co Limerick, joint agents Ganly Walters and Sotheby's International Realty have sold Fedamore House at Fedamore, Co Limerick for over the guide price of £900,000 (€1.14m) in a private treaty sale. Situated within seven miles of the city, the six/seven-bedroom Georgian house stands on 15 acres and includes a coach-house, 28 stables, sand arena and outbuildings.
A site with outline planning permission for a house at Ballymabin, Dunmore East, Co Waterford was sold at auction for £80,000 (€101,600) through O'Shea O'Toole.
In Co Meath, a 24-acre nonresidential farm at Cloran, Athboy, was withdrawn by T & J Gavigan.

In Co Donegal, Rockhill Holiday Park in Kerrykeel has been sold by private treaty for a strong price of £1.8 million (€2.28m) through McElhinney Properties.
A commercial/residential property at Main Street, Sallins, Co Kildare was sold at auction for £154,000 (€195,580) through Property PartnersBrady.
John Younge secured close to the guide price of £500,000 (€635,000) after auction for the Central House pub in Roscrea, Co Tipperary.
In Wexford, a two/three-acre site with planning permission for a dormer house at Tincone, Ferrybank was sold at auction for £112,000 (€142,240) by Keogh & Associates.
Also in Wexford, a residential convenience store at 62 Upper John Street, Wexford town was withdrawn by Cleary Auctioneers which is seeking £170,000 (€215,900).
