Hotel CondosColliers Jackson-Stops is offering Irish investors a hotel condominium scheme three miles from Disney World in Florida.
Seralago Hotel and Suites in Kissimmee are on an 18-acre site within striking distance of downtown Orlando and Orlando Airport.
The hotel is undergoing a €4.7 million renovation and a range of condominiums are now for sale at the hotel.
Prices at the Seralago Hotel range from €93,574 for a 31sq m (336sq ft) non-poolside suite which will sleep four people going up to €136,431 for a 62sq m (672sq ft) unit, which will sleep eight people.
Apartments come with a guaranteed rental income of six per cent for the first two years. This, based on the hotel's performance, could rise to eight per cent plus from year three onwards, according to selling agent Gillian Ryan from Colliers Jackson-Stops.
Owners can use their condos for up to four weeks a year, she adds.
Although prices are falling in Florida as in many other parts of the US, hotel condominiums may prove a more reliable way of getting rental return on investments.
Amenities at the hotel will include swimming pools, playgrounds, tennis, volleyball and basketball courts as well as restaurants and a bar.The Seralago Hotel will be on view at Jury's Doyle Hotel, Ballsbridge from September 15th to 17th.
