Prices are somewhat steep for first-time buyers, although selling agent Ross McParland believes a number of sales will come from this quarter.
The least expensive threebedroom semi starts at £206,500, rising to £226,500 for 1,270 sq ft four-bed semis with extended kitchens. The houses will be divided equally between three different styles.
Three-bedroom semis of 1,133 sq ft are priced from £206,500; larger 1,171 sq ft three-bed semis with extended kitchens and integral garages cost from £221,500 and 1,270 sq ft four-bedroom semis with very large kitchens start at £226,500. A few units on larger sites cost extra.
Woodstown Village is located almost at the foothills of the Dublin mountains. Proximity to the M50 and the coming Southern Cross route will bring all areas of Dublin within easy reach. Around 300 houses are already occupied. Over 30 acres of the site, which is is designed around a central tree-lined avenue, are open space.
The houses currently for sale will be ready for occupation from July to December 2001, say the agents. They are positioned close to the entrance of the development and the purpose-built village centre. This is open for business and a video shop, hairdresser, chemist, medical centre, Chinese restaurant, Credit Union and a supermarket are trading.
Exteriors are of half-brick and render. Attention has been paid to the interior floor plan, with larger kitchens on a modern white-andsteel theme a special feature. The four-bedroom semis have a spacious kitchen/ breakfastroom with extra light from a Velux window.
Showhouses will be on view this Saturday and Sunday from 3p.m. to 5p.m.
