Fujitsu, one of the world's leading telecommunications companies, is to lease over half the space at 9 Lanyon Place in Belfast for its telecom software engineering service. The £30 million building near the Waterfront Hall was developed on a speculative basis by Dunloe Ewart. Fujitsu will occupy 79,000 sq ft of space in the high-tech block at a rent of £13.50 sterling per sq ft. Dunloe Ewart's chairman, Noel Smyth, says it intends to continue with the second phase of the Lanyon Place development and with other riverfront projects.
