Kitchen appliances are part of the package at Knocklyon Gate, a new development of 62 apartments in Woodstown Village in Dublin 16.

There are 30 one, two and three-bedroom apartments in the first phase, which are being sold off the plans. The one-bedroom units range from £130,000 to £159,000 (#165,100-#201,930) and are 430 sq ft to 580 sq ft.

The two-beds are £153,000 to £210,000 (#194,310#267,700) and are 611 sq ft to 1,012sq ft and the three-bedroom apartments are £194,000 to £215,000 (#246,380 - #273,050) and are 1,012 sq ft to 1,111 sq ft. Ross McParland is handling sales. Designed by Anthony Reddy & Associates and built by Ellier Developments, the scheme will have three, four and five-storey buildings. With the investor out of the market, there is now a trend towards providing extra flourishes to attract the owner-occupier.

The kitchen appliances provided include a fridge freezer, washer/dryer, stainless steel extractor fan, and a hob and oven. Kitchen units will be cream with beech worktops and chrome handles and will come with wall and floor tiles.

The bathrooms will have large mirrors and heated towel rails and apartments will have Gold Shield electric heating - with under-floor heating in some penthouses. The first block is expected to be completed by summer 2001. For anyone interested in seeing what the finished scheme will look like, a scale model and virtual tour on CD-ROM are available in Ross McParland's Morehampton Road office. Standard features include double glazing, steel balconies or terraces and outdoor lighting. There will also be ample car-parking. The grounds are being landscaped by Brady Shipman Martin and will include a water feature.

Facilities in Woodstown village include a supermarket, video store, hairdresser, chemist and restaurant.
