Any commercial estate agency worth its salt now has an international partner to cash in on the globalisation of the property market and Ganly Walters is the latest Dublin firm to acquire one. It has just linked up with London based international property consultants King Sturge. One of the largest commercial property consultancies in the UK, King Sturge has 850 employees in the UK alone, and an annual fee income over £50 million. Ganly Walters chief executive Paul McDowell found his ideal partner though FIABCI, the international real estate organisation which has been fostering these kinds of links for many years. He tracked King Sturge down to their hired villa in Cannes during an annual commercial property conference earlier this year, and got on famously well with the team who had been seeking a partner in Dublin for some time.
