The home of the former Minister for Education, Gemma Hussey, Rostellan, at 29 Temple Road, Dartry, Dublin 6, sold after auction yesterday for around £3.5 million. The detached Victorian six-bedroom house, which has a separate coach-house, was withdrawn from auction at £3.3 million and sold shortly afterwards.

Elsewhere in Dublin 6, Jackson-Stops withdrew 51 Sandford Road, a two-storey over garden level six-bedroom house, from auction. The guide price was £1.25 million and it is now for sale by private treaty.

Also in Ranelagh, a three-bedroom mid-terrace house in very good decorative order, at 48 Oakley Road, was sold at a Gunne Residential auction for £760,000.

A four-bedroom semi-detached house at 6 Rathdown Villas, Terenure, was withdrawn by Douglas Newman Good and sold later for about £770,000.

Off Orwell Road, 10 Landore, a four-bedroom house, was withdrawn at £420,000 and is under negotiation through Sherry FitzGerald.

A semi-detached house at 39 Kenilworth Square, Rathgar, was withdrawn and is under negotiation through Jackson-Stops.

A two-storey over garden level house in self-contained units at 14 Palmerston Road was withdrawn by Lisney, which is quoting £1,050,000.

Douglas Newman Good is seeking £400,000-plus for 85 Grove Park, Rathmines, a four-bedroom Victorian house.

A three-bedroom terraced house at 7 Leeson Park Avenue, was withdrawn at £535,000 and sold later for a higher price through Lisney.

In Clonskeagh, a three-bedroom semi-detached house at 5 Vergemount Park was sold at a Sherry FitzGerald auction for £415,000.

HOK Residential secured £385,000 at auction for 18 Carlisle Street, Dublin 8, a three-bedroom mid-terrace house.

Also in Dublin 8, 35 St Kevin's Parade, a two-bedroom period house off the South Circular Road, was withdrawn by Douglas Newman Good.

South Dublin

Seagrange, on Sandycove Avenue East, a five-bedroom Victorian villa-style house overlooking the sea, was withdrawn from auction at £3 million by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £3.75 million.

Lisney fetched a strong price of £1 million at auction for Strathearn, at 4 Seafield Avenue, Monkstown, a two-bedroom villa-style house with a self-contained garden apartment.

The same agent withdrew Tudor Hall, a five-bedroom Victorian Gothic-style house, from auction after it failed to sell and is now seeking £2.5 million.

In Glenageary, Lisney also withdrew Glasthule Lodge, a detached Georgian house on an acre of garden off Adelaide Road. It is now being offered for sale at £1.95 million.

Nearby, a six-bedroom detached Victorian house, Lismolin, on Silchester Road, Glenageary, was withdrawn at £1.5 million and sold later for around £1.65 million by joint agents Lisney and Billy O'Sullivan.

In Monkstown, a three-bedroom Victorian villa-style house at 5 Monkstown Road was sold at a Lisney auction for £505,000.

In Killiney, a five-bedroom detached house, at 7 Beech Court Killiney, was sold prior to auction for over £430,000 by Jackson-Stops.

Also in Killiney, a four-bedroom detached house at 4 Albany Court, Killiney, was withdrawn by Jackson-Stops, which is quoting £420,000.

A four-bedroom bungalow, Clonturk, on Ardbrugh Road, Dalkey, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is seeking £485,000.

A four-bedroom mid-terrace house at 3 Mayville Terrace was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £420,000.

Also in Dalkey, a three-bedroom apartment, Apartment 5, Inishowen, Pilot View, was withdrawn at £340,000 and sold later for a higher price through Lisney.

In Sandycove, a three-bedroom semi-detached house, Regaile, on Sandycove Road, was withdrawn by Lisney, which is seeking £560,000.

In Blackrock a three-bedroom detached house at 1 Hyde Park Avenue fetched £650,000 through Lisney.

HOK Residential is seeking £535,000 for 30 Hampton Crescent, St Helen's Wood, Blackrock, after it failed to sell at auction.

Also in Blackrock, Sherry FitzGerald is quoting £450,000 for Inver, a four-bed detached house on Greenville Road, following its withdrawal from auction.

A four-bedroom detached house at 6 Tresilian, on Brighton Road, Foxrock, was withdrawn by Daphne L Kaye & Associates, which is seeking £1.5 million.

A five-bed bungalow at 92 Stillorgan Grove, Stillorgan, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £560,000.

A five-bedroom detached house, Littlegrange, at Stonebridge Road, Rathmichael, was withdrawn at £825,000 and is under negotiation through Daphne L Kaye & Associates.

In Cabinteely, a four-bedroom detached house, Foinavon, on Beech Park, was withdrawn at £800,000 and is under negotiation through Daphne L Kaye & Associates.

In Sandyford, Oak Lodge, a four-bed bungalow on 0.75 acres at Ballyedmonduff Road, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £565,000.

In Knocklyon, Dublin 16, Idrone House, 2 Idrone Avenue, a five-bedroom house plus a site, was withdrawn by Douglas Newman Good, which is seeking £850,000-plus.

In Newcastle, Co Dublin, a five-bedroom bungalow on 1.5 acres, Moatlands, on Peamount Road, was withdrawn by HOK Residential, which is quoting £400,000.

In Chapelizod, Dublin 20, Clonbur House, a six-bedroom house on 1.29 acres was sold prior to auction by HOK Residential.

In Sandymount, Bennetts secured £416,000 after auction for 54 Wilfield Road, a four-bedroom semi-detached house.

At 29 Park Lane, a three-bedroom mid-terrace house, was withdrawn at £320,000 and sold later for a higher price by Lisney.

A four-bedroom house at 4 St Johns, Park Avenue, was withdrawn at £470,000 and is under negotiation through Gunne Residential.

Closeby on Park Avenue, Parknasilla, a five-bedroom detached house, was withdrawn by Gunne Residential, which is seeking £830,000.

Still in Sandymount, Sherry FitzGerald is seeking £395,000 for 13 Cranfield Place, a threebedroom mews, following its withdrawal from auction.

In Ballsbridge, 49 Lansdowne Park, a three-bedroom terraced house, was withdrawn at £225,000 and sold later for a higher price through North & Co.

In Donnybrook, 16 Eglinton Park, a four-bedroom semi -detached house, made £592,500 by Wyse & Co.

A two-bedroom cottage at 20 Pembroke Cottages, Donnybrook, was withdrawn at £200,000 by Lisney and sold later for a higher price

At 34 Home Villas, a two-storey two-bedroom house was withdrawn by Douglas Newman Good, which is seeking £250,000-plus.

Also in Donnybrook, 58 Donnybrook Manor, a two-bedroom terraced townhouse, was sold at auction for £333,000 by Christies.

Dublin 14 and 16

A four-bedroom semi-detached house at 57 Braemor Road, Churchtown, Dublin 14, was withdrawn by Gunne Residential, which is seeking £325,000-plus.

In Dundrum, a three-bedroom mews house, Olivemount Cottage, on Dundrum Road, was withdrawn at £230,000 by Lisney, which sold it later for a higher price.

A three-bedroom mid-terrace house at 131 Mulvey Park, Dundrum, was sold at auction for £175,000 by Meldon & Sons.

In Rathfarnham, Las Candas, at 121A Butterfield Park, a fourbedroom detached house was sold at a Lisney auction for £450,000.

A two-bed cottage, Laurel Cottage, in Rathfarnham, was withdrawn and sold later for about £215,000 by Sherry FitzGerald.

Elsewhere in Rathfarnham, 15b Riverside Drive, a four-bedroom bungalow, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald.

North Dublin

In Howth, Sherry FitzGerald secured £1 million at auction for Strand Lodge, on Claremont Road, a five-bedroom house with direct shore frontage. Lisney is seeking £2.2 million for Drumnigh, a three-bedroom bungalow on Carrickbrack Road, Baily, Howth, following its withdrawal from auction.

In Drumcondra, Dublin 9, Lyndale, a three-bedroom house at 59 Church Avenue, was sold at a Sherry FitzGerald auction for £290,000.

A four-bedroom semi-detached house at 162 Upper Drumcondra Road, Drumcondra, was withdrawn and is under negotiation with Douglas Newman Good.

In Santry, Dublin 9, a five-bedroom detached house, Woodview, on Swords Road, was sold at a Douglas Newman Good auction for £442,500.

In Dublin 7, 45 Aughrim Street, a three-bedroom semi, was sold at auction for £232,000 by Meldon & Sons.

A two-bedroom house at 18 Hoar Rock, Skerries, Co Dublin, was withdrawn by Kelly & Co which is seeking £175,000-plus.

Wicklow

A seven-bedroom house on 4.2 acres, Knockranny, Kilmacanogue, was withdrawn at £950,000 by HOK Residential and sold later for a higher price.

Also in Kilmacanogue, Moorepark House, Moorepark, a three-bedroom detached house, was withdrawn by Jackson-Stops which is quoting over £320,000.

Currabinny, a three-bedroom semi, on Herbert Road, Bray, was sold at auction for £280,000 by Jackson-Stops.

Still in Bray, the same agent fetched over £200,000 after auction for 3 Newcourt Road, a three-bedroom semi-detached house following its withdrawal from auction at £180,000.

HOK Residential is seeking £500,000 for 18 Novara Avenue, Bray, a four-bedroom detached Victorian house after it failed to sell at auction.

In Enniskerry, The Coach House, Silvervale, a three-bedroom bungalow, was withdrawn by Hassett which is quoting £400,000.

A five-bedroom detached house, Strawberry Fields, on Bellevue Hill, Delgany, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald which is seeking £1.25 million.

Also in Delgany, The Lodge, a four-bedroom house on 1.5 acres on Blackberry Lane, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £900,000.

HOK Residential is seeking £425,000 for Widows Peak in Lacken, a three-bedroom detached house following its withdrawal from auction.

Jackson-Stops secured £500,000 at auction for 5 The Grove, Redford, Greystones, a four-bedroom detached house on 0.75 acres.

Also in Greystones a four-bedroom house, Sidmonton on Sidmonton Road, was sold at a Jackson-Stops auction for £390,000.

In Dunlavin, a 61.5-acre residential farm at Usk, was sold at auction for £480,000 through J P & M Doyle.

Provincial

A strong price of £1,620,000 was achieved at auction by Keane Mahony Smith for a 161-acre non residential farm at Derrypatrick, Summerhill, Co Meath.

A three-bedroom dormer bungalow on 1.5 acres, The Paddocks, in Ratoath, Co Meath, was sold at auction for £330,000 by Ronald Duff & Associates.

Coonan is quoting £120,000 for a four-bedroom cottage at Newtown, Enfield, after it was withdrawn from auction at £90,000.

Near Navan, a four-bedroom bungalow on 0.75 acres, St Annes, on Boyne Road, was withdrawn at £300,000 and is under negotiation through Raymond Potterton.

In Co Kildare, a three-bedroom semi at 556 O'Neill Park, Maynooth, was withdrawn by Brady & Co, which is seeking £160,000.

Meanwhile, Coonan is quoting £550,000 for a threebedroom mid-terrace house on Main Street, Maynooth, Co Kildare, following its withdrawal from auction at £400,000.

Commercial

In Dublin 7, The Mill public house, Phibsboro, was sold prior to auction for over £3 million by John Younge.

John Younge sold Fitzharris' pub, at 2a and 4 Bridge Street, Ringsend, after auction for close to £700,000.

In Dublin 6, a 600 sq m office property Poplar Court on Clareville Road, Harold's Cross, was sold at auction for £1.38 million by North & Co.

A shop property with overhead offices, Flannerys, at 17 St Agnes Road, in Crumlin, was withdrawn by Cumiskey which is quoting £380,000. In Bray, Co Wicklow, The Ardmore Bar, at 46 Main Street, was withdrawn at £1.5 million and is under negotiation through Gunne Commercial.

In Kilcoole, Cunniffes Foodmarket, Main Street, was withdrawn at £425,000 by Jackson-Stops which is quoting over £500,000.

In Lusk, North Co Dublin, 3.7 acres of development land at Corduff made £820,000 through Hamilton Osborne King.

In Naas, The Paddocks public house, at Poplar Square, was sold at auction for £2.65 million through Colm McEvoy, which also withdrew the Manor Inn on Main Street. A commercial property on 0.33 acres, Brennans Hardware, on Eyre Street, Newbridge, £480,000 through Jordan Auctioneers.

Also in Co Kildare, a 9.4-acre development site at Athgarvan, Curragh, was withdrawn at £1.2 million and is under negotiation through Brophy Farrell. In Co Meath, Ma Reillys pub, Stackallen, Slane, was withdrawn by John Younge, which is quoting £500,000.

In Wexford, O Faolains pub and Mary Kates Restaurant, at 11 Monk Street, made £1,160,000 through John Keane. A residential shop unit at 96 High Street, Kilkenny, was sold at auction for £665,000 through McCreery Auctioneers.

In Co Wicklow, The Brook House public house at 75 Lower Main Street, Arklow, was sold after auction for £1 million through John Younge.
