Dublin 11: Own-door apartments and duplexes go on sale this weekend at Charlestown, off St Margaret's Road, in Finglas, Dublin 11. Selling agent Douglas Newman Good will be taking bookings at show units, open this Saturday and Sunday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
A total of 24 apartments and duplexes are on offer in this phase. Prices from €175,000 for 10 one-bedroom units will attract first-timers or parents of college-going children attending Dublin City University. Investors may also be in the running.
These are generous-sized at up to 57 sq n (620 sq ft) and, like all the apartments, have their own front door. Four two-bedroom own-door apartments of up to 82 sq m (890 sq ft) cost from €226,000 - also first-timer affordable. One remaining three-bedroom own-door apartment of around 92 sq m (1,000 sq ft) is priced at €245,000. There are also nine three-bedroom duplexes of up to 104 sq m (1,124 sq ft), priced from €249,950.
Charlestown is by now well-established, with former phases of houses now sold out. The area is convenient for the M50 motorway, the airport and Beaumount hospital, as well as DCU.
The one-bedroom apartments are at ground floor level, with duplexes overhead. There is a separate sittingroom and a kitchen/diningroom with cream units.
