A planning application has been lodged for a 55-bedroom hotel on part of a nightclub site at South Anne Street and Anne Lane. The developers plan to demolish numbers 21, 21A, 22 and 24 South Anne Street except for the listed facades. The facade of number 24 is also to be retained but all levels are to be demolished except the ground floor. The new building will have retail/ storage space at basement level, retail on the ground floor, a licensed restaurant at first floor level and the hotel in the four upper floors.
