Cork is 60 miles via the N24 and N8. Miles to other destinations: Limerick (50); Thurles (36); Kilkenny (32); Waterford (30); Carrick-on-Suir (14). The NRA says a "wide two-lane bypass" of Clonmel and Cahir on the N24 Limerick to Waterford primary route is "planned".

Trains:no direct train to Dublin. There is a railway station offering three trains each weekday to Waterford (connecting to Rosslare Harbour) and to Limerick Junction with onward connections to Limerick, Ennis, and Cork and Dublin - www.iarnrodeireann.ie

Bus:Bus Éireann Expressway service to Dublin (via Kilkenny): first bus leaves at 6.45am, arrives Busáras 10:30am; last bus from Dublin at 8.30pm, arrives Clonmel 11.45pm.
