Dublin 8: from €335,000The last seven apartments at this scheme, which was launched in 2005, hit the market this week, writes Fiona Tyrrell
The final phase of one and two-bedroom apartments at Hyde Square, in Dublin 8 comes to the market this week.
Hyde Square is a scheme of 82 apartments and a selection of live/work units off the South Circular Road.
The first phase was launched off plans in 2005 and the scheme proved popular with first-time buyers.
Now selling agent Hooke & MacDonald is handling the final release of seven one and two-bedroom units this weekend.
One-bedroom apartments with 49sq m (530sq ft) of living space are priced from €335,000 and the two-bedroom apartments, which measure 70sq m (760sq ft), cost from €440,000.
Underground car-parking is available for an additional €25,000.
The scheme has a very convenient Dublin 8 location off a leafy section of the South Circular Road.
It is opposite the well-regarded Hybreasal apartment development and beside the St James' Wood development.
It is a short walk to two Luas stops - Suir Road and St James' Hospital.
Show units will be on view this weekend to coincide with the launch, however all of the units can be viewed as the development is now complete.
The scheme comprises three blocks, which are built around a central residents courtyard.
The open space is greatly enhanced by the fact that most of the car parking in the development is underground.
Hyde Square is being developed by Galway-based Megard Ltd and was built by Purcell Construction.
